Daily prayer
to St. Jude

O kindSaint-Jude, our faithful intercessor to Jesus, receive the following special intentions : to present them to the Almighty Lord, Root of all good. Above all, grant us an increase of our faith in His love. May each day find us closer in our relationship with our Heavenly Father. KindSaint-Jude, you who has revived hope in our hearts, you whose model merits and life bring us the divine blessings and graces, be our advocate, and lead us to Jesus and Mary. With you, blessed apostle, we give thanks and praise God with all our heart for His innumerable kindnesses. Amen.

An Empty Tomb
What happened?
Some people speak of resurrection...
But it has not been proven
Logically speaking : when a person is dead, he or she is dead!
For that, we have proof, real proof.

But of the resurrection?
Some say that they have seen him after that Sunday.
Paul even states that he had appeared to 500 brothers at the same time.
But... we all know the le phenomenon of illusion.
Some opponents were talking about a planned job...
What better than a spectacular event... to start a  sect,

No, in front of resurrection, I am cornered.
I am reduced to faith!
Reduced!
The arguments disappear one by one.
Reduced!
No logic, no reasoning that holds,
No proof that carries off a membership.
I am reduced to faith!

I believe.
Regardless, I believe.
And slowly, my faith becomes a struggle.
A struggle against death
A struggle against hate.
A struggle against war.
A struggle for new springtime
A struggle for the laughter of children
A struggle for happy loving relationships.
A struggle for the light.

In front of resurrection, faith becomes hope.
