Pope Francis' morning homilies at Casa Santa Marta, are enlightening for our Christian life. Recently, he said "saints of the daily life are many: they are grounded upon the rock, which is Christ" (Matthew 7,24-27).
The Pope often evokes them, he drew their profile in his homily of December 4th, 2014. "There are so many saints, not all necessarily canonized, men and women who put into practice the love of Jesus, who built the house on the rock that is Christ." The Pope invites to "think about little ones, about patients who offer their suffering for the Church and for others, to all single seniors who pray, all mothers and all fathers who provide with great efforts to the needs of their families, to the education of their children, working hard every day, which are facing problems, but with hope in Jesus." Them, said the Pope "are not strutting, but do what they can; these are the saints of daily life!
We all need solidarity, fraternity and prayers in our lives, efforts and sufferings. Be assured that, each Thursday of Saint Jude, we pray and mass is celebrated for you who entrust us your prayer intentions.
Saint Jude, you are the Saint of Hope, direct us always to Christ, to his message that is full of life, hope and fraternity. Saint Jude, pray to God for us!
